SENIOR LAWS PLAN UNIQUE BANQUET ON BOARD STEAMER A banquet on a steamer somewhere in Lake St. Clair or Lake Erie is the novelty which the senior laws are now meditating. The class banquet com- mittee held a protracted session last evening bent on devising plans that would ensure the greatest farewell gathering ever held by a senior class. The plan for a banquet afloat was buta one of the schemes hit upon and while it sounds almost chimerical the com- mittee is taking it seriously and will send a representative to Detroit dur- ing the coming week end in an effort to secure a favorable offer from the D. and C. officials. If no boat can be secured with a ban- quet hall large enough to seat the en- tire class the question of Detroit vs. Toledo will again arise. If the class goes to Toledo the Hotel Secor will probably be the scene of the feast. LABORERS ARE ENGAGED TO EXCAVATE FOR AUDITOR Arrival of Supt. Anderson,\ of Jams Stuart Co., Presages Early Start. We refrain from mention- ing the subsequent gnashing of hair and tearing of teeth. Prof. Roth Tells of Michigan's Waste.
