'ANT A NICE RAT?
BUI LDING HAS THIEML

"Rats is Rats" over in the Medical
building. Ellis Parker Butler's "Pigs i
is Pigs" has been justified and shown
tk be no idle fantasy. About one month
past, the Medical department received
a shipment of two hundred white rats
which were used for experimenting
work. Upon their arrival, they were
placed in five large crates in the base-
Sment. Today, they exist in quantities
-- too numerous to mention, and instead
of five cases there are ndw
twenty five. 'The janitor said, "We will
soon have to give them an additional
room. Every crate in the building is]
occupied. All that I think of is, what
)nl shall we do with more rats?'
e Dr. Van Htoosen Again Fails to Appear.
10 For the third time this year, Dr.
DBertha Van Hoosen failed to appear
to address the Women's League. A
totelegram was received yesterday af-
ternoon saying she would not be able
to come but as before no reason was
giv en for the refusal.
