4 THE MICHIGAN DAILY .: 0 Lam, the Tailor $ MOVISD TO a st Liberty Street Maynard, in the New Malcolm Block' arid ready to get oust your order at once, saln and reserve a Suit r Overcoat. u ,JEWEFLERS AND STATIONERS of High Grade FRESHMEN AND SCRUBS CLASH WITH VARSITY. (Continued from page .) That ought to be by the end of the week and he may be in shape to get in the game with the "Aggies" if Yost decides to use him. If McMillan shows enough speed to beat Craig out of the place he has held so far this fall it is possible that the speedy quarter may be shove: out to end where he will have Garrels and Barton to fight for the honor of playing opposite "Stan" Wells. Varsity Not Going Well Yesterday. The Varsity was played to a stand- still yesterday by the scrubs and for a time it looked as though there would be no scoring done as long as they were the opponents. The first string line was not charging, and it was not holding the scrubs in check. Smith has gathered a bunch of husky men around him and of course every day they are more formidable as they have just that much better chance of, getting together. The Reserves have not increased so much though, that they should be entitled to make such a showing against the varsity if it were playing true to form. It prob- ably is a mid-week slump but it isn't the kind of ball that will win from the Farmers. They are out to do ort die up-state this year and Michigan is going to need her strongest line- up to be returned winner. The lineup follows: Michigani Conklin .. .... LT.
