NEW OFFICERS LAST NIGHlT.
Herman -Weigand, '14, was last night
elected president of the junior men's
section of the Deutscher Verein to fill
the vacancy caused by the resignation
on account of a press of other duties
of Glenn G. Munn, '14. Edward T.
Bott, '15, was elected secretary-treas-
urer to succeed Weigand.
Professor Iilorer gave an interesting
account of the celebrations by the stu-
dent societies throughout the empire:
of the eightieth birthday of Prince Bis-
mark on the first of April 1895.
Herman Weigand read some pages
from "Der Grune Heinrich" which
dealt with the witchcraft period in
G ermany.
1'11 Engineers Will Dine Tonight.
The 1911 engineers will dine tonight
in the Vulcan rooms and the event
promises to be one of special interest
to the members of the class who are
in school. Prof. de TMuralt will be the
principal speaker, the other speakers
being impromptu.
