He was one of the oldest grad- uates of the engineering department, and his name is prominent as the sur- veyor of the Mackinaw division of the Advertising Proves Too Expensive. A record of cost to the university of advertising the summer school through mnagazines, Compared to the number of students attracted to the university through these advertisements, shows an expense too high per student. Hussey who left Ann Arbor for Argentina, South l America last June, will r.eturn here the first part of February. He expects to leave La Platte tomorrow and will complete the journey in about a month Professor Hussey has been taking ob- servations near Buenos Ayres and has been director of the observatory at the University of Argentina.
