TL~o. T a ichizan Daily:
in Tuesday morning's issue, the Daily
cook occasion to remark upon the fact
jthat the Student's Directory has not
yet been put on sale. At the same
ti-m:e it in a sense criticised the man-
agement and printers of that publi-
cation, which like the Daily, is govern-
ed by the Board in Control of Student
Publications. In justice to the Board,
the student body, and the Ann Arbor
Press which has a contract for print-
ing the directory, a statement of a
ew facts might prove apropos.
It has been the aim of those getting
out the Directory to make it as nearly
accurate in every detail as possible.
At the samne time it has been desired
to publish a complete list of members
of all fraternities, clu~bs, and other or-
ganizations 'on the campus. To this
end every one of the clubs and or-
ganizations mentioned were notified
and requested several weeks ago to
send. a list of members to the editor.
-Many, who wvished to aid us, were
prompt to comply with our reques!'
Others, for reasons best known to
themsIelves, were less prompt,, and two
or three have not yet submitted the
list requested.

These remnarks are not offered as an
excuse, but as a reason, for the failure
of the mlanagement and the printer for
not having the Directory on sale sev-

as a notice to those organizations and
students who are in a way responsible,
to reply more promptly next year to

aid him.
