Dean Smith to Start Polyclinics. Starting this morning, a series of polyclinics will be held at the l-{omeo- pathic hospital for the instruction of post graduates. These clinics will be in charge of Dr. Dean T. Smith. The first operations will be conducted by him, but later in the year the graduate students will aid in the work.1 In response to a petition from the men on the Michigan Law Review, the faculty of the law department recent- ly passed a. resolution excusing these men from half of the remaining work in the Trial Practice for the year. Up to this year, the Law Review men have been excused from writing the gradu- ating thesis, but as a thesis is no longer required from the seniors, this resolution was adopted by the faculty to give the seniors credit for their ex- tra work on the Law Review.
