Tom Needs It
Somebody made away with Tom's
helmet last night in the fracas at the
Majestic. For the uninformed we add
that Tom is the "campus copper." So
long has old Tom been connected
with the Michigan campus and with
the interests of the student body, and
so well has he fulfilled his duties that
it seem like the sacrilege of some
herished campus tradition to cause
him harm. And to Tom the price of a
new helmet is a luxury only to be met
vith resultant sacrifice.
Tom believes so thoroughly in the
'ionesty of the student body that he
4ully expects that the helmet will
some back to him in due course of
-ime. We sincerely hope that that
:rust and that confidence, created by
years of association with successive
student bodies, will not be shaken.
