MICHIGAN NOTES
Michigan agrees to
deal with WJR
The Michigan athletic department
and WJR reached an agreement that
will make the Detroit superstation
the flagship station of Wolverine
football and men's basketball
through 2005-06.
By adding WJR, the U-M Radio
Network has become one of the
largest networks in the Midwest,
with the capability to reach ip to 38
states as well as a chutk of eastern
Canada.
Along with game broadcasts, WJR
will air a coaches show at least twice
per week during both the football
and basketball seasons.
