2 - The Michigan Daily - Monday, August 9, 1999 TICKETS Continued from Page 1 they are to be ejected from the stadi- um, Madej said. As a way to combat stolen and scalped tickets the University previ- ously issued season tickets, in a packet, forcing ticket holders to bring all of their season tickets to all events, .Bodnar said. The idea was scraped because it became a hassle to ticket holders who lost their tickets. The University switched to issu- ing the tickets on a perforated sheet so the students and regular season tickets holders would only have to bring one ticket to each game of the season. Several other options for eliminat- ing problems with tickets have been considered due to recent advances in technology, including a card with a magnetic strip, similar to a credit card, Madej said. Although this idea has not been considered, Madej said it would be a few years from ever becoming reali- ty.
