Wednesday, July 27, 1994 - The Michigan Daily -9 .s , Btween South University and Washington Street, State Street was lined with booths (opposite page, left). In a unique booth on Maynard Street, Stuart Lazer took a llama for a test ride before making a decision on whether to buy (opposite page, right). It was a Liberty Street booth however that caught the attention of many children including these two girls (this page, top). With ahelpfulpuff of air, the horse stayed at a gallop. Beyond the sights of the Art Fair, there were also the sounds and the tastes. Nilser Cortez played his zompona on Saturday for the shoppers on East Liberty Street while the grounds around the Michigan Union played host to vendors offering a variety of food (this page, bottom left, right).
