Michigan's Bob Henighan and James Carson turned in fine perfor- mances, finishing 11th and 14th re- spectively,butreceivedlittlehelpfrom the Wolverines' three, four and five players. Coach Jim Carras has grown accustommed to the Wolverines' in- consistent performances. "Very frankly, this is very close to what I anticipated," Camas said. "Bob Henighan and James Carson played well. We didn't have the balance we needed to be a better team." Henighan's rounds of 73, 76, 71 and 71 put him at 291, five strokes behind medalist Jamie Fairbanks of Illinois, while Carson's (74-73-73-72) 292 left him 6 strokes out of first.
