Babes in art land

._ . ;:.

Ann Arbor's four-day Art
Fair brought artists, street
performers, and merchants to
town. But the fair's most
curious attraction came on the
shoulder's of moms and dads.
Rarely does the city's down-
town and campus area host
anyone under the age of 18, but
during the fair visitors from
all around the state broke out
the strollers and carriages for
the kids whose parents
couldn't find a sitter.
The youngsters seemed
generally unimpressed by all
the goings on, hence the
favorite pasttimes of the tod-
dlers were sleeping, eating,
and crying.
While mom and dad
traveled the Ann Arbor street
lookiing for the painting that
would make the living room
complete, the kids stayed
close to security, lest they be
lost in a sea of grown-ups.
But by Saturday evening,
when the artists had moved on
to another fair, the new
generation was also on their
way home. Most were
probably asleep in the car,
and the youngsters will
remember very little of their
stay in Ann Arbor.

Boss baby really knows how to party during the Art Fair. His motto is,
"you just gotta be cool."

While most parents and their children are walking through the crowded streets, this little fellow and his
mother decide to take a mid-afternoon nap in front of Angell Hall.

Bonnet baby decides to give mom's neck all the support it needs while she
gets a free ride.
