when vou're broke.

The dinner was sensational. So was the check.
The problem is, the theater tickets that you insisted
on buying broke your whole budget. Enough to
declare bankruptcy by the time the coffee arrived.
A nudge under the table and a certain destitute
look in the eye were enough to produce the
spontaneous loan only a good friend is
ready to make.
