Only now beginning to gain recognition across the U.S., Hip Linkchain's blues credentials are im- peccable. Theater Common Ground Theatre Hearing impaired and non-hearing impaired performers are encouraged to audition for the play, Children of a Lesser God by Mark Medoff. Exhibits Alice Simsar Gallery An exhibition of New Editions from Styria Studio opens on Saturday June 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Nine artists are displaying their work which includes lithography, serigraphy, collage, hand stamping and hand coloring. All the works are recent publications released by Styria Studio New York. The work of the artists is included in many public and private collections in the United States and Europe and is included in major museum collections as well. The exhibition will continue through July 7 and the gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (301 N. Main). Call 665-4883. Free. Clare Spitler Works of Art The last one-person show for this season will begin on Saturday June 4 with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. The special exhibit will be Drawings and Paper Collages by Anne Mills McCauley. McCauley's large drawings contain abstract shapes in layered pastels on a dark, mysterious background.
