Page 2 The Michiga Daily -LSaturday, May t21.1983 TODAY Kiss off LyNO DELOREAN and Barbara Kane aren't the types to just kiss off a challenge. The New York couple hold the Guiness world record for the longest kiss, which they set during six days in Los Angeles in February. But their record is being challenged by a Los Vegas couple, so DeLorean and Kane are puckered up again to save their honor. "Nobody knows when it will end," said Chris Harris, a publicist. The couple originally planned to quit Saturday, 10 days after they started, but will continue as long as it takes to keep their record, Harris said. DeLorean and Kane, kissing for six straight days in the windgw of the Lonely Hearts boutique in Manhattan, stopped briefly for champagne Tuesday when they topped their record, but went right back to smooching. The couple is allowed to break for five minutes every hour, but Harris said the couple sometimes doesn't stop kissing for eight hours so they can take a 40-minute break.
