Oakland, and Reggie Jackson and Fred
Lynn of California. Also selected were
Hal McRae of Kansas City, whose 76
runs batted in lead the majors, Dave
Winfield of the New York Yankees, Ben
Oglivie of Milwaukee and Carl Yastr-
zemskiof Boston.

Montreal Expos, who led all players in
the computer balloting by the fans.
LASORDA ALSO picked two first
basemen, Al Oliver of Montreal and
Jason Thompson of Pittsburgh, behind
the fans' choice, Pete Rose of
Philadelphia. The NL also will have two
backup third basemen, Atlanta's Bob
Horner and Ray Knight of Houston
behind starter Mike Schmidt of
Philadelphia.
Steve Sax of Los Angeles, the only
rookie named to the NL team, will back
up Philadelphia's Manny Trillo at
second, and Ozzie Smith of St. Louis
was named behind starting shortstop
Dave Concepcion of Cincinnati.
Named in the outfield were Dusty
Baker of Los Angeles, Leon Durham of
Chicago, Ruppert Jones of San Diego
and Lonnie Smith of St. Louis. They will
back up starters Tim Raines and Andre
Dawson of Montreal and Dale Murphy
of Atlanta.
