In put- ting together the second. annual recreation supplement, we have attem- pted to generate some creative ideas for summer fun that are of low or minimal cost. Since this is only the second recreation guide published by the Daily, a number of obstacles presented themselves from it's inception. First, stories had to be assigned, researched, and written by reporters drawn from the ranks of die-hard Daily staff members. Despite covering daily breaking news, articles for the new student edition, and working late hours to put the paper together, they all managed to do an excellent job with en- dless (and somewhat surprising) en- thusiasm.
