lelted Championships
The University of Michigan Tae Kwon Do Club hosted the
8th National AAU Tae Kwon Do Championship and an
Open Belted Championship on May 15th and 16th. Ap-
proximately 150 people participated. The Nationals had
three events, all limited to two ranks below black belt and
anything above-sparring, (fighting), forms, and
A breaking. The winners in the eight women's classes and ten
men's classes will be part of the U.S. team to participate in
the January World Games in Spain. The Open Belted
Championship consisted of two events-sparring and for-
ms. This competition had no restrictions on belt or age.
