Ann Arbor plays host to Reds
4 Ann Arbor, normally thought of as the home of
T University of Michigan sports teams, has had a
g newcomer in athletics recently. Due to a jazz
festival being held in Riverfront Stadium, the Cin-
cinnati Reds have been practicing at both
C C Michigan's Fisher Stadium and Fieldhouse. Cmn-
a ~ ~. ) cmnnati arrived Saturday and practiced in Ann
~<Arbor through Thursday.
~C A few of the numerous yonngsters that watched
S the Reds practice, line the left-center field wall
(left). The youngster second from the left has just
caught a fly hall. Cincinnati ace reliever Tom
Hume (bottom left) goes into his windup. Joe
Nolan (below) signs his autograph for numerous
fans. George Foster (bottom right), a crowd
favorite because of his many mighty btasts, cocks
his bat as the ball approaches.
