Cyberski gets his stones from dealers

January and February. He says that he
used to have contacts with miners out
West and they would get turquoise for
him. He also says that he goes to "out of
the way little shops" and that he is
"amazed at what some people have in
these shops."
THERE'S "STILL a lot I'm trying to
learn," says Cyberski. He adds that he
never wants to feel locked into anything
and that he wouldn't call making
jewelry a job. He says he loves his

lifestyle, though it takes a lot of self-
discipline.
Cyberski says that he takes a "rough
hunk of 'rock, flat piece of silver," and
"puts it together into something
beautiful." He says that when he takes
the rough, uncut stone he has some idea
of what's inside but it's still "a little
trippy" when you actually find out.
CYBERSKI DOES a lot of
showpieces. These pieces take him four
of five days to make and he will often
keep them for a few years before selling
them. The showpieces are "more in-
dividualized" and Cyberski will often
experiment with their designs. He adds
that from these pieces he gets a lot
more custom orders.
Cyberski will be exhibiting his
jewelry in the Summer Art Fair. There
will be rings, bracelets, pendants, and
belt buckles for sale and prices will
range from $15 to $900. Cyberski's booth
will be on State Street and should be
noticed because it's made out of an
original Argo Park Canoe Livery.,

JOE CYBERSKI IS PROFICIENT in many diverse arts. , He's
a cal-penter, but first-and-foremost he's a jeweler. Cyberski's
work consists mainly of silver and semi-precious stones though he does some
work with gold. Cyberski is best-known for his inlay work and he has many
people who look for his work at the art fairs. For veterans of the Art Fair,
Cyberski is also known for his booth, which is made from one of the original
Argo Park Canoe Liveries.
