The Entertainment and Sports Programming Network, Inc. (ESPN) will be covering the Series, starting with Game Seven on Tuesday, June 2 at 8 p.m. MICHIGAN OPENS the Series this Saturday at 5:10 p.m. against Mississippi State, the winner of the Atlantic Regional. If the Wolverines win, they will play the winner of the West Regional-Central Regional game-either Arizona State or Texas-on Monday, June 1. If they lose, they'll play the loser of the West-Central contest on Tuesday. The other teams participating in the double-elimination Series are Miami of Florida (South Region), Oklahoma State (Midwest Region), Maine (Northeast Region) and South Carolina (East Region). ESPN will continue coverage of the Series on June 3 at 8 p.m. with Game Eight. On June 4, Games Nine and Ten will be shown at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., respectively. Game 11 will be broadcast the following day at 8p.m. ESPN WILL COVER both Games 12 and 13on June 6 at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. unless there is a major league baseball strike, in which case NBC-TV would broadcast Game 12 at 2 p.m. and ESPN would resume coverage with Game 13 at 5 p.m. NBC-TV will broadcast Game 14 on June 7 at 3 p.m. and if a 15th game is necessary, ESPN will show the contest at 8p.m. This year six of the eight teams will have their games shown on ESPN, whereas last year only four of the teams received television exposure. If you don't have access to ESPN, which is available in Ann Arbor through Ann Arbor Cablevision, WAAM radio (1600 AM) will broadcast all of Michigan's games.
