(UPI)-Michigan will face New Orleans in the opening game of the Mideast Regional of the NCAA Division I baseball championship to be played at Fisher Stadium on Friday at 1:00. At 4;00, Eastern Michigan will square-off against Nevada- Las Vegas. Minnesota and Wichita State have been given the final two at-large berths in the NCAA tournament. Minnesota will meet Miami (Fla.) in a first-round game at Coral Gables today and Wichita State visits Atlantic Regional host Clemson tomorrow. The only spot remaining in the 34-team field is the ECAC No. 3 automatic berth which will go to the win- ner of yesterday's game between Old Dominion and James Madison. The winner will advance to a first- round game Against Memphis State in the East Regional at Columbia, South Carolina.
