Those problems have sub- sided now and Hogan's job issecure. "Right now, Hogie's in a good place," Berenson said. "Every week- end is an adventure. But was I think- ing about (making a change)? Yeah. You have to think about it when your goalie is fightingthe puck." During Berenson's 26-year ten- ure, he has typically found success when he uses primarily one goalie. Past Wolverine netminders like Marty Turco and Al Montoya played nearly every game. But Hogan isn't used to playing full-time for Michi- gan, as he split time with Billy Sauer for the majority of last season. "Traditionally, I have been a one- goalie coach," Berenson said. "But last year, we had two I thoughtcould play, and then it was up to them to show us who is the starting goalie." This year, Hogan has made that decision easy. : Junior Bryan Hogan has been the only goalie to log minutes for the Wolverines this season. SAIDALSALAH/Daily Experience the Difference " 1100 Sq. Ft.
