wearing a dark suit paired with a
gorilla mask.
The bus arrived, and the stu-
dents fell silent as they filed in.
Gorilla boy sat down next to me.
With the camera focused on my
face, S awkwardly pulled out my
cell phone. Then I felt an arm
around my shoulder: t was goril-
la boy.
"Want to get a picture?" he
asked, motioning with his other
hand to my phone. "Take a pic-
ture!"
So S put my phone in camera
mode and took apicture with him
while everyone else giggled quiet-
ly. For the rest of the ride, gorilla
boy was filmed reading the news

and chatting with another pas
senger. At the end of their dee:
conversation, they embraced.Th

CRIME NOTES

As S strolled toward the build-
log, a boy about two feet in front
of me was clearly in a mad rush"
to get somewhere. He was doing
that awkward half-walk, half-
run thing, intermittently break- -'
sing into a sprint as he powerv
:p walked, his back aerodynami-'
e tally hunched over.
n He entered the same building as,
y me and my pity mounted. I expect-
ed him to veer off to the bathroom
or a professor's office. He didn't.
,L Growing concerned, S hoped
he couldn't possibly be rush-
ing to be on time for a lecture
in which students were asked
which dessert shares the same
e letter of their first name on the
l, first day. But to and behold, he
a screamed into my lecture hail.
