It is similar work to the two internship experiences. " Great way to emphasize transferable skills like strong work ethic and leadership initia- tive. " You could find ways to expand [Work Experience] points to be more specific about the work and how it relates to the position you are applying for. DHRUV MENAWAT * This is a great start! Includes great experiences which high- light a variety of skills that are highly valued in the private sec- tor like research, client interac- tion, execution on new ideas, teamwork, ingenuity and organi- zation. * The descriptions with each experience need a little work to make them paint a better pic- ture of the specific skills gained through each experience. This can be done by focussing on what/how/results framework. O The results/big picture part is especially important because it shows how the work that you did contributed to the overall good and puts the experience in per- spective for an employer read- ing this who may have no prior knowledge about the company you worked with or the type of work you did. O Formatting: pretty good, although a lot of "white space" especially in the left margin. Pull all the text to the left, will give a lot more space. O Consistency:dSome better points with periods and some without. Be consistent in format- ting/grammar. Make sure the dates do not wrap around to the second line. * Think about combining skills/interest into "Additional" if cramped for space. Or just remov- ing "interests"section. It's less important in the private sector. " Campusinvolvement: These experiences are as valuable as "work experience." Add-a couple bullets highlighting the skills you gained and responsibilities you had. Give examples of projects done (for example, as market- ing chair, what PR initiatives did you start? How did it help? Or as Social Chair, what kinds of events did you organize? What was the good?) JERRELL MCCOWIN * Think about adding how you did the skill or the results or outcome [to Work Experience] * Optional: You typically take high school off when you gradu- ate from undergrad. * Focus onthe job and job post- ing and think about what skills they are looking for, and if you have those skills make some they are represented on your resume. s Think about where you are applying and what information an employer might want to know about you to help you get the interview.
