The TES is an infrared instrument
which can indicate the chemical com-
position of nearby soils and rocks. A
super-mini-TES will be available in
U.S. markets by the end of next year.

Kathleen (Kay), 92, resident of Ann Arbor

sity of Michigan. She helped found the
Michigan Association of Emotionally Dis-
turbed Children. She loved other cultures and
travel. She served in the WAVES and in the
U.S. occupation in Germany. She is preceded
in death by her brothers, Bernard, Leonard
and William, and her sister, Margaret Van
Hook. She is survived by her sister, Veronica
Frances & by many nieces and nephews. A
memorial service will be held at the Gazeebo
at 13 mi. and Mound Rd. in Warren, on Feb.
14th @ noon. The family regrets the inconve-
