PART-TIME RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY
The Institutional Research Department at
Washtenaw Community College (WCC) in
Ann Arbor has an opening for practical part-
time quantitative research work in a collegial
environment. Work includes intellectual
work and technical processing tasks. Mini-
mum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
statistics, social science, applied survey re-
search, or quantitative discipline with empha-
sis on statistical methods, including research
design, graduate level work prefened and the
equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experi-
ence working in quantitative research in ap-
plied or academic setting required OR at least
two semesters performing such work on a
regular basis as a graduate assistant, or suc-
cessful completion of two graduate level
statistics courses, or a combination thereof.
Must be able to make a fim good faith com-
mitment to 20 hours of daytime work at
WCC campus on a consistent weekly sched-
ule, beginning as soon as possible and
through the 2003-2004 academic year.
Should have strong quantitative skills and
coursework. Must have working knowledge
of SPSS and Microsoft Access. Must have
English fluency. U-M students must have au-
thorization to work at other employers be-
sides U-M. F-1 students must have Curricu-
lar Practical Training (CPT). $16.69/hr. with-
