Woes

My flight is late
The plane can't take off
I'll have to wait
And this chair ain't so soft
There's snow in the air
It nips at your nose
Bad weather; Beware!
Mom says, "wear warm clothes"
My luggage I checked
With fear in my heart
"What if it's lost?"
I though with a start
I boarded the plane
Glad to be on my way
But little did I know
What I would endure this day

To my left, a crying baby
On my tray some tasteless grub
To my right, a hefty lady
Dreaming of the mile-high club
Thankfully I fall asleep
Rudely to arise
Fearfully I start to weep
We're falling from the sky!
"Turbulence," the captain says
Really does no harm
Just keep on watching 'Castaway'
There's no need for alarm
This trip has been so awful
I'm too angry to talk
I jump off the plane gleefully
Thinking, "next time I will walk!"
