2C - New Student Edition -- The Michigan Daily - Wednesday, September 6, 2000 BOLLINGER Continued from Page 1C dent's house, located on South Uni- versity Street. Bollinger said he likes the house because of the easy access it provides to every area of campus. "It's quite homey - it's a nice place to call home," Bollinger said. "It's friendly - there is little between you and thousands of peo- ple. Every now and then, though, we have to escape to our own home in Vermont." While his job description includes a lot of travelling, --i Bollinger also takes time to enjoy the University. Bollinger said that everyone at the University should take time to explore as much of the campus as possible. "The amazing variety is part of the thrill of being here. It's amazing how I'm constantly finding out new things," Bollinger said. During the fall semester, Bollinger teaches a class on the first amendment. Yet, he doesn't recom- mend that students just take his class. "There's not one class I would rec- ommend students to take. Yet, I wouldn't want them to leave without taking Shakespeare and it's exhilarat- ing to learn about genetics and struc- tural biology," Bollinger said. In his spare time, Bollinger said he likes to listen to music. "I really enjoy Mozart. I have a set of Mozart piano concertos in my CD player right now," Bollinger said. As for the best place to cat on campus, Bollinger replied "Clearly Zingermans." -To contact President Yollinger; you can e-mail him at leechol@umich.edu or call the ffice of the President at 764-6270.
