Annual UJA Student Half Shekel
Campaign at the
University of Michigan.
SThe United Jewish Appeal is a nonprofit
organtization that provides assistance for those in
need in the U.S., Israel, and around the world.
We support shelters for abused women and
children, vocational assistance programs for the
unemployed, nursing homes for the elderly, the
resettlement of immigrants in search of a new life,
and much more.
HalfShekelis the heart of our campus-wide
campaign. Th-ough it, we are identifying
ourselves as a united Jewish community playing
its role in repairing the world. Our goal is for
every onetosand together in this effort.
