Jackson threw for two touchdowns, and Autry Denson ran for 162 yards. Game 8: Michigan 15, Minnesota 10 The Wolverines overcame turnovers and a minus-23- yard rushing performance to eke out a victory i the Metrodome. The defense recorded its third safety of the season, tying a team record. 0 Game 2: Syracuse 38, Michigan 28 Behind Donovan McNabb's potent option attack, the Wolverines yielded 430 yards of total offense. McNabb completed 21 of 27 passing attempts. Game 3: Michigan 59, Eastern Michigan 20 Anthony Thomas stormed for three touchdowns and 117 yards rushing en route to a thrashing pf the overmatched Eagles. The Wolverines picked off four passes in the game. The Nittany Lions were held scoreless for the first time in 11 years. Safety Marcus Ray returned for his rst game since the Syracuse game. Game 10: Michigan 27, Wisconsin 10 The Wolverines rushed for 257 yards against the nation's No.1 rushin defense. Clarence Williams rushed for 121 yards and Anthony Thomas added 102.
