What You Win The most accurate prognosticator will receive 15 FREE pizzas, topped with any- thing you'd like, courtesy of Pizza House. All other contest entrants will receive noth- ing. What It Costs Very little. In fact, nothing. How to Play Here's where it gets a little trickier. Per the usual routine, fill out the bracket as you would for any other pool. Be sure to write in a pick for every game, even if you're not sure of the correct answer - there is no penalty for guessing. Also, please pick the total number of points for the two teams in the championship game, just in case we have to break any ties. Be sure to write your name and telephone number, somewhat legibly, in the top right-hand corner of the bracket (failure to comply with the previous stipulation may disqualify you from the con- test and will definitely make the sports edi- tors very angry). More Rules When you've finished scribbling on the bracket, cut it out and drop it off at the Michigan Daily Sports Desk on the second floor of the Student Publications Building at 420 Maynard St. All entries must be received by 11 a.m. Thursday. Only one entry per person, please. Who Can Play You do not need to be a University stu- dent, faculty or staff member to enter. However, employees of The Michigan Daily or Pizza House and their immediate family members are not eligible to win. Basketball writers' housemates are also ineligible due to the fact that they are exposed to our vast knowledge on a regu- lar basis. The Michigan Daily reserves the right to disqualify any contestant in the event of an illegal entry. How to Score You get one point for each correctly picked first-round winner, two for each second-round winner, four for each regional finalist, eight for each semifinalist, 16 for each finalist and 32 for the national champion (for a total of 192 points). In the event of a tie, the contestant closest to the total number of points scored in the cham- pionship game will be crowned the win- ner. Any Questions? We sure hope not, cause we think we explained it pretty well. But in case you do, feel free to call the Daily Sports depart- ment at 647-3336 in the afternoon or evening. Thanks for playing.
