Tiger's Time
When 20-year-old Tiger Woods turned pro in late August. he had in mind it
modest goal: to earn enough money in the remaining two months of the
season to automatically qualify for the PGA tour again next spring.
Anything beyond that would be gravy. Well, pass the gravy.
The first weekend in October, Woods won the Las Vegas
Invitational. The win clinched an automatic spot on the tour
for the next two years and a check for $297,000. Two weeks later,
I Woods won the Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic and
$216,000.

ning the first semester intramural tournament. He was captain of the
Mitch's Place team, the undefeated intramural champions in a separate league.
I This past summer, Kudelka ran a hockey camp on Long Island. He currently
is awaiting word on whether he made the national team for the 1997 World

Maccabi Games, an international competition held every four years.

It's a lot to handle. But Jason finds the time.
