MUSEUM OF ART

The museum exhibits more than 13,000 works in a variety of
media every year Located across from the Michigan Union, the
museum offers docent guided tours, lectures, gallery talks by artists
and curators, concerts and multimedia perforrmances. While galleries
on e first and second floors are open to the public, vast collections
held in the basement are accessible by students on an appointnent
basis only. Such intimate contact enables students to explore art on
more personal leveL.
