DOING IT...
Brian Krawczyk
Is it some kind of weird, intergalactic coincidence
that all the letters in kayak appear in Krawczyk's
name? Probably not, because kayaking is
Krawczyk's passion. It's also a family passion
and a family tradition. His father, Henry
Krawczyk, was a member of the 1976 Olympic
team. Brother Danny, like Brian, is a former
Junior National Kayaking champion.
Krawczyk has his sights set on the big cosmic
showdown, the year 2000-which is also the date
of the next summer Olympics. Already, to get into
Olympic shape, Krawczyk runs three miles and does

Flag Football. Who says there's no true college football national championship? There may
NIKE COLLEGE not be one in varsity fo6otball, but 1996 will see the first college football national championships
FLAG FOOTBALL. (flag ftball, that is). [he Nike Invitational Flag Football Championships (NIFF~C) will be held
December 27th through the 31lst and will be brought to you by Butterfinger and played at
the Nokia Sugar Bowl . No ties. No polls. No m'Iaening sub-
jectivty
Regional Championships
w~ill be held in October
and November(see schedule
below). Winners will receive an
expenses-paid trip to the National
Championship in New Orleans, in late December.
