Why: The outside hitter served all 15 points - including two aces - in the first game of the Michigan volleyball team's victory over Eastern Michigan Szczes
on Saturday night. Szczesniak led the Wolverines to a three-game sweep, winning 15-0, 15-3 and 15-9.
Background: Won Michigan's Athletic Academic Achievement Award last year. Volleyball Magazine "Fab 50" player in 1995. Enrolled in Division of Kiniesiology.

against Notre Dame. The children received free admission, food and special autographed posters.
Background: Won the Michigan's Athletic Achievement Award. Team's Most Improved Player last year. Currently enrolled in the College of
Literature, Science and the Arts.
