The Michigan Daily - Thursday, December 5, 1996 -15SA A DV E RTI SEM EN T I1 VOUiME, 2, HUMBER 1 11 F HNIESIUOFMHFA DECEMBER 1911 DOING IT**. In high school, Seany Handelman played tennis for the love of the game. At the University of Michigan, he's mixed business with pleasure. A senior economics major who spent the* second half of . his junior year at the London School of Economics, Handelman has merged his tennis \ and business skills into a suc- cessful occupation: tennis instruction. Sean's practice has more than 30 clients. He handles the billing and the advertising himself. Handelman does not charge everyone he instructs. Each summer, Handelman teaches children in the Connecticut area Special Olympics Tennis Program howe to play. Back on campus, Handelman has been a fixture in intramur- al tennis tournaments. Sean represented his fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi, losing only one match in three years. This past season, Sean played in the doubles A Division and won the championship. Handelman plans to go into investment banking and, ~hopefully be as successful in that arena as he's always Fbeen on the tennis court.
