Keeping Ahead
of Your Hair:
A Day at Dascola Barber Shop

Clockwise, starting in lower left corner: The tools of the trade, clippers, scissors, brushes, and combs, rest dormant in a
sanatizing compartment, awaiting their next use.; (left to right) Mel Evans, and University students, Bill Webb, Mark
Kirschner, and Daniel Gottlieb, get haircuts from Ernest Dascola, Dick Roos, Ron Barnet, and Dominic Dascola,
respectivly.; Ernest Dascola, left deftly swipes his clippers while trimming Mel Evans' beard. Evans has been a Dascola
customer for nearly 4o years.; The "Next!" tile, lies on the floor just inside the entrance, and is still stood upon by some
patrons as they eagerly await the next avaiable chair.; University student, John Smeader, takes a look at the back of his new
haircut, as Dominic Dascola holds a mirror. A moment later, Dascola put a few finishing touches on the cut.; At the end of
the day, Tina M. Polehna sweeps shorn hair from the shop's floor.
