A s university students gears up for the annual Ohio
State football game, members of the local Red
Cross are starting the holiday rush. For the 13th
consecutive year, the Red Cross and Alpha Phi Omega are
holding a blood drive, in a competition with the Buckeyes
to see who can come closer to their goal. The local groups
are hoping for 2,100 pints to help hospitals in southeastern
Michigan stave off a shortage during the holiday season.
The whole procedure is relatively painless and takes about
an hour and a half. It is recommended that you eat before
