M-Link program, in cooeration with the
Cooperative Network for Dal Use Informa-
tion Technologies (CONDUlT), is seeking a
M-Link CONDUIT Coordinator for 20 hours
per week to assist with their efforts in im-
proving workforce training and technology ,
transfer to small and medium-sized
businesses. The role of CONDUIT within M-
Link is to facilitate the provision of informa-
tion in response to business needs through lo-
cal libraries. The Coordinator will meet with
staff of and organize workshops for busines-
ses and economic development agencies to
assist them in locating and utilizing tradi-
tional and electronic information; organize
conferences for and meet with public
librarians tb assist them in accessing,
utilizing, and marketing electronic informa-
tion resources related to the objectives of
CONDUIT which will be made accessible to
public libraries, the business community, and
other community sectors. The Coordinator
will also develop and provide access to
electronic information resources for libraries
and businesses. Related duties as assigned.
Must have a MLS (from an ALA accredited
program) or MBA degree, experience with
usiness information resources and economic
development agencies and activities,
familiarity with database searching and
electronic networking, and demonstrated in-
terpersonal and group presentation skills.
