The interception was the eighth of Morrison's career. BACKGROUND: Morrison is coming off an injury-plagued 1993 campaign, where he missed seven games and started only four times. He broke the 200 career tackle mark with an 11-tackle performance againstw Notre Dame last season. Morrison was an All-Big Ten Second Team selection in 1992 season, after leading the team in tackles (124): and finishing second in interceptions (2). He led the team pickoffs (4) in 1991, despite missing four games with a broken leg. Morrison was the top-rated linebacker prospect in Michigan as a senior at Brother Rice, and was also all-state in lacrosse his junior season.
