After months of gray skies and frozen emotions, spring appears on the scene and with it comes an epidemic. That epidemic is love, and it hits hard. All of a sudden people holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes start walking into people on the Diag because they are too interested DETROIT & MACKINAC IRISH RED CASK CONDITIONED REAL ALE YOUNG'S SPECIAL BITTER WOODPECKER CIDER MCEWAN'S EXPORT DOUBLE DIAMOND 0 PAULANER WEISS BELL'S SOLSUN FULLER'S ESB BUD LIGHT V,,, +f DETROIT & MACKINAC IPA YOUNG'S OATMEAL STOUT NEWCASTLE BROWN ALE S HACKER PSCHORR DARK '1GUINNESS STOUT '4 WHITBREAD ALE HEINEKEN BASS ALE LABATT'S FOSTER'S Cover Photo: Michelle Guy Cover Design: Evan Petrie Hats Courtesy of: Michigan Book and Supply Cameras Courtesy of: The Daily in each other to watch where they are going. They can't seem to let go of one another long enough to do any- thing. So what we see is a bunch of zombie-like lovebirds wandering around campus with goofy grins on their faces. Because of this unusual phenom- enon, I started thinking of all the things that have been written and said about love. Whole volumes are dedi- cated to this crazy event that gener- ally plagues everyone at some time or another. But by far some of the best comments on love are made by kids. So I am dedicating my last column of the year to love and what those who hold the key to our future have to say about it. "If you have a lot of worries, you should make sure you fall in love ...All worries will go away." -- Jenny, age eight Jenny obviously has a lot to learn about the sting of Cupid's arrow. If love were supposed to be painless, Cupid would just send chocolate, and even then we'd have to worry about the extra calories. "I'm not rushing int love. I'm finding fourth enough." - Regina, age 1 If Regina thinks fourt tough wait until she trie Somehow only having ti over e-mail and going on ( UGLi takes the romance o in love. Mae yond her years. "Love means never to your money, because you be busy spending it." - nine As college students w ally have to worry about cause none of us has any comforting to know that could be the wife who spe money, not that I would man for his money.
