Kristoffer Marc Gillette, former Michigan Daily photographer and editor, died at the age of 23 in his sleep of complications from epilepsy Wednesday, March
9. While he was working for the Daily, Kris' photographs from the 1993 NCAA Final Four basketball tournament appeared in The Chicago Tribune and
The New York Times. After photographing for two years at the Daily, he began stringing for The Associated Press. Kris' photos have also appeared in People
Magazine, Sports Illustrated, USA Today and Mitch Albom's book, "The Fab Five." These are some of ours and Kris' favorite photos. Kris was greatly
admired and loved by everyone at the Daily. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family - mother, Roberta; father, Richard and sisters, Karin and Nora.
