How common was it in 1972 for people not to walk on this earh? Obviously common enough for the Earth Shoe
advertisers to distinguish between earth walkers and non-earth walkers. For all you earth walkers out there, how
many times as you stroll accross the Diag do you say to yourself, "Gee, I wish]I had some sand in my shoes so I
could feel like V was walking barefoot across a beach"? And since when does walking on sand improve your posture
or reduce aches, pain and fatigue? Is that why so many senior citizens move to Florida?
Daily: How many engineers does it take to design such a shoe?
Engineer: Eleven, one to design the shoe, and 10 to drag him away from his computer to do it.
Hey, we're journalists, not comedians. And what the hell are sabots anyway? Maybe they're what non-earth walkers
wear.
