Fall Fashion 1993: Meet our very real models

Jeff Angobaldo,'96. Jeff realizes
that, "The key to physical beauty is
mental strength." When Jeff isn't
modeling, he hangs out with his
friends at Eastern Michigan Univer-
sity. He says, "I know them from my
fraternity-Sigma Lambda Beta, the
Hispanic fraternity on campus. Being
in it is very rewarding. We're spread-
ing around the Hispanic voice."
Sina Lewis,'94. "I want to be an
actress. I'd like to do anything out in
the public eye."
Gayathri Arumugham, '95 "I
love to dance and my favorite color is
purple. Among Gayathri's claims to
fame, "I went to the same high school
as 'They Might Be Giants.' I can
stand on my head for a really long

time. And my favorite show is
'Sesame Street.' IevenhaveaSesame
Street lunch box."
Shanti Lal, '96. "I'm fun. I like
to play soccer, hang out with friends.
I play intramural football and soc-
cer." Shanti hopes to eventually go
to the University of San Francisco
for medical school. He has traveled
all over the world, and some of the
highlights have been Singapore, En-
gland, Spain and Holland.
Jessica Cordero, '96. When at
home in Buffalo, New York, Jessica
works as a lifeguard and swim in-
structor. This former member of the
crew team enjoys working with chil-
dren. She says, "I'm a counselor at
Camp Good Days and Special Times,

a camp for kids with cancer."
Russell Hughes, '95. Rusty has
done professional modeling work in
Colorado, and plans to use the money
he earns modeling for law school.
"I'm an environmental economics
major. I'll be studying environmen-
tal law, hopefully at University of
Colorado, Boulder."
Priya Patel, '95. Priya, a gradu-
ate student in the Public Health pro-
gram and arecent graduate of Boston
University, likes reading and run-
ning, but not at the same time. "Just
do it," she advises.
Karrin Kober, '94. Kari is a bi-
ology major in the Residential Col-
lege Honors program, and likes to
play the guitar and to travel. She
quotes Will Stanton when she says,
"Republicans sleep in twin beds -
some even in separate rooms. That is
why there are more democrats."
Sonya Brown, '93. Sonya has
done abitofmodeling, most recently
the Girbaud fashion showon theDiag
last week. She spent last summer
mountain climbing with the Sierra
Club in California. Sonya says, "I
want to go to med school next fall."

In the mean time, Sonya is happy
hanging out at coffee shops (sne pre-
fers the Galleria's Caf6 Fino and
Rendez-Vous Cafd) and working out
at the CCRB.
Je-Won Hwang, '96. "I want to
go to U of M Medical School," says
Je-Won, jewelry maker and tennis
player extraordinaire. While medi-

cine and not modeling will be a
part of her future, Je-Won also
recently worked for Girbaud,
modeling on the Diag. What did
she like best about working for
Fall Fashion? "The people I met."
Chris Vasell,'96. Grand Rap-
ids bred Chris says that he's ma-
joring in "life." His course of

study includes mountain biking, napping,
showering and hockey. Chris, who has
modeled for Redken hair products says,
"I'm going to enjoy life to the fullest." *
Kevin Reed, '95. Kevin loves to
dance at clubs, and as you read, he is in
Los Angeles taking a stab at the "real
world" of modeling. But really, what
could top Fall Fashion?
