Lip Service

Double mint mocha, extra whipped cream. Almond
honey milk, with skim. Single decaf capp, hold the cinna-
mon. A world of possibility. A veritable potpourri of choice.
A lucid enigma tightly wrapped in a cliche.
Coffee shops have come to epitomize Ann Arbor
pretentiouso. The trick is to enjoy it - to bask in the very
avant garde that distinguishes these havens from the libraries
and the living rooms. Gather up your volumes of Greek
poetry. Put on your best nose ring. Inhale the scent of fresh
coffee and conversation. Who says pretentious can't be fun?
