Twice a week, Kathy Himes, Debbie Safran and 28
other members of the Michigan equestrian team make
the 15-minute trip to Sean Curcio's Paragon Farm for
practice. The team uses six of Curcio's horses, includ-
ing Eli. Practice usually includes walking, trotting and
galloping around the perimeter of the rink, focusing on
posture and keeping the horse in balance.
