W E D N E S D A Y IGGY Pop After a glorious spell with the Ann Arbor blues legends the Prime Movers, Iggy struck out on his own and formed the Stooges, which turned out to be responsible for a good 75% of all the guitar sludge from Seattle. When it was all too much, he had to break up the band and he turned to the sleazy splendor of Berlin. With a head full of snow, he recorded two killer albums, "Lust for Life" and "The Idiot," with his good friend Ziggy Stardust and then resigned himself to a career of shameless self-parody. Until the last few years, that is. Iggy's latest, "American Caesar," shows that he hasn't lost that spark that made him one of rock's most notorious figures. He's aliving legend, and he's from Ann Arbor as well; you will regret not seeing him at the State Theater. It's an all ages show and the fun begins at 7:30. UNIVERSITY P _'If'ARMONIA ORCHESTRA Donald Schleicher conducts Beethoven and Stravinsky, H-ill Auditorium, :00 p.m., free, 763-4726.
