So you aren't into the bar scene, frat parties aren't your bag, and you aren't quite desperate enough to go to the personal ads.
Lately you haven't been able to pick up a date even if he/she had handles. Well, fret no more! The Daily can help. Or at least 28
.years ago we could have.
T[his is a state of the art computerized dating system "you have heard so much about". (whatever). And the questionnaire is
~designed by teaching psychologists to find you FIVE GREAT DATES. Now, is this like those scholarship searches where if the
company doesn't find you at least five scholarships for which you qualify, you get a refund?
All this for just a measly $3! A paltry sum for finding five great dates for you.
But'be warned that this is "not a lonely hearts club." (You're not going to be exchanging recipes with pen pals.) And it's "not
:oriented towards matrimony" either. (So if you do meet "the one," you can't get married, because it's against the rules of the
cluib.) And only "fun-loving U. of M. plus Eastern students" are eligible. (So if you're not fun-loving, forget about it.)
And best of all, the "beautiful girls from Tr-Delta" and the "lively guys from Sigma Chi" will be doing it too! Well if that isn't
incentive to get to you try this thing, I don't know what is.
We at the Weekend section sent a postcard with our names and addresses (heck we'll try anything), and we're waiting for our free
questionnaire. We'll let you know if we find our perfect matches.
